Keeping the heaviest component on the bottom shelf and lighter source components above it makes the most of that per-shelf capacity.

AR-1: FootprintAR-1 measures W660 x D550 mm at the base, giving each shelf enough surface for a full-width component without the feet overhanging the edge.

A regulated system rack like this is bought without a fixed shelf count in mind - shelves are specified to match the system it will house.
