LS60 Wireless: Uni-Q Point SourceLS60 Wireless is built around KEF's Uni-Q driver array - HF 19 mm (0.75 in.) vented aluminium dome with MAT, MF 100 mm (4 in.) aluminium cone. Uni-Core force cancelling bass: LF 4 x 135 mm (5.25 in.) (per speaker). Placing the tweeter in the acoustic centre of the cone makes the pair behave as a single point source, so the sweet spot widens and the tonal balance holds up wherever you sit.
LS60 Wireless is an active design, which means each driver has its own amplifier and its own DSP-defined crossover. There is no passive crossover between amplifier and driver to lose control or waste power.

LS60 Wireless: AmplificationLS60 Wireless amplifies every driver individually: LF 500 W Class D, MF 100 W Class D, HF 100 W Class AB (per speaker). Maximum SPL 111 dB at 1 m. Because the amplifier is matched to the driver it is driving, the system knows exactly what the cone is doing and can protect it near its limits instead of guessing.
LS60 Wireless covers 31 Hz - 24 kHz (+/-3dB) measured at 85dB/1m. Frequency range 26 Hz - 36 kHz (-6dB), so the response is defined by DSP rather than by cabinet compromises - and it can be reshaped for placement close to a wall or on a stand.
