Matrix OFC: Three-Strand OFC ConstructionMatrix OFC Power Cable is built from three strands of 2.5 mm² OFC wire, each strand itself twisted from seven 0.25 mm² 6N OFC wires - a construction Matrix Audio tuned specifically to complement their own components.
The core is filled with cotton yarn and paper, which keeps the finished cable flexible and easy to route behind a rack rather than stiff and awkward to bend.

Matrix OFC: ShieldingMatrix OFC Power Cable is wrapped in aluminium foil shielding under a braided nylon sleeve, isolating the conductors from external electromagnetic interference.
The result Matrix Audio describe is a quiet background and a neutral, uncoloured sound - the cable’s job is to stay out of the way rather than add its own character.

Matrix OFC: ConnectorsMatrix OFC Power Cable is terminated with power plugs using pure copper contacts, with the junction between cable and plug sealed in resin to keep oxidation from ever reaching the connection point.
That sealed junction is what Matrix Audio rely on for long-term durability rather than periodic contact cleaning.

Matrix OFC: Built for the Matrix EcosystemMatrix OFC Power Cable was designed alongside Matrix Audio’s own DACs, streamers and network switches, and voiced to complement them specifically rather than being a generic third-party cord.
It is one of three cable products Matrix Audio released together - the OFC power cable, an OCC USB cable and an OCC XLR interconnect - all built to the same design philosophy.
