SS-1 Pro: Custom Toroidal Power SupplySS-1 Pro is built around a custom O-core toroidal transformer paired with high-speed Schottky diodes and close to 10,000 µF of audio-grade filtering capacitance as its first power stage - considerably more elaborate than a typical switch power supply.

SS-1 Pro: Femtosecond Clock and RF SynthesizerSS-1 Pro’s clock system pairs a femtosecond crystal oscillator with a high-precision, ultra-low phase noise RF synthesizer, and supports two clock modes - in internal mode the femtosecond clock references the RF synthesizer, which then generates the stable low-phase-noise signal the main controller runs on.
An external clock input is also provided, letting SS-1 Pro lock to an outboard master clock where a system already has one, rather than relying solely on its own internal reference.
