Two XB12 Drivers with 6-Inch Voice CoilsAt its core are two XB12 12-inch drivers, each featuring an enormous 6-inch (153 mm) voice coil. Their precision-engineered motor design, with a SingleFrame basket and ventilated magnet structure, ensures exceptional control and high efficiency even at the deepest frequencies.
The 1.15 Tesla flux density acts over a 480 mm voice coil length, the pole plates are low-carbon steel and the diaphragm is a composite of long-fibre paper and carbon fibre - extremely stable and torsion-resistant for precise piston movement. The cabinet is 30 mm MDF and plywood, resting on a solid U-shaped cast aluminium base with four outriggers and tool-free levelling spikes.
