Ares 15th: FPGA Processing and Adaptive ReclockingDigital signal processing runs through an onboard FPGA, with an adaptive FIFO buffer reclocking incoming digital audio before it reaches the R-2R conversion stage.

A proprietary USB audio solution built on an STM32F446 ARM-based MCU handles the USB input, with a licensed Thesycon driver for Windows and fully driverless operation on Mac and Linux.

Ares 15th: DSD1024 and PCM1536 Over USBARES 15th accepts DSD64 (2.8224MHz DoP) across coax, TOSLink, I²S and USB inputs, stepping up to DSD1024 (45.1584MHz) and PCM up to 1536kHz over USB alone.
