KEF SQ1 Floor Stand

SQ1 Floor Stand: Built for Q Series Bookshelf SpeakersThe SQ1 Floor Stand is designed and dimensioned specifically for KEF’s Q Concerto Meta, Q3 Meta and Q1 Meta bookshelf models, giving each of those speakers a matched, purpose-built platform rather than a generic universal stand.

Overall size including the base plinth is 615 x 260 x 350mm (24.2 x 10.2 x 13.8 inches), sized to give a stable, appropriately raised platform for a stand-mounted Q Series speaker.

SQ1 Floor Stand: A Rigid, Stable PlatformAluminium construction gives the SQ1 the rigidity needed to properly support and couple with a bookshelf speaker, avoiding the resonance and flex that a lighter or less rigid stand can introduce into the bass response.

At 3.25 kg (7.2 lb) per stand, the SQ1 has enough inherent mass to sit solidly on its own, before any additional filler is added.

SQ1 Floor Stand: Cable Management and LevellingAn integrated cable management route keeps speaker wire tucked inside the stand’s column rather than run externally along the outside, for a cleaner look in a finished room.

Adjustable rubber feet let the SQ1 be levelled individually on uneven floors, and speakers are not physically fixed to the stand’s top plate, allowing minor repositioning without needing tools.

SQ1 Floor Stand: Optional Filler and FinishesFor the best possible performance, KEF recommends loading the SQ1’s column with an inert filler, adding mass that further damps the stand and improves speaker-to-floor coupling.

The SQ1 is available in Slate Grey and Mineral White finishes to match the Q Series speakers’ own colour options, and is sold as a pair.
