LIFE AUDIO ESSENCE I MK 3 RCA

Essence I MK 3 RCA: Above Gold MK 3 RCAEssence I MK 3 RCA sits above Gold MK 3 RCA in Life Audio’s interconnect range, sharing its tier with the Essence I MK 3 AC Power and XLR cables.

Life Audio price the full Essence I MK 3 family - AC Power, RCA and XLR - identically at 38,000 THB, positioning it as one coherent step up from Gold MK 3. Life Audio was founded in Bangkok in 2014 by Voravut Winasuntu, who had already spent close to a decade working alongside international high-end audio manufacturers before starting the brand.

Essence I MK 3 RCA: ShieldingEssence I MK 3 RCA carries heavier shielding than the Gold MK 3 RCA beneath it, aimed at keeping a line-level signal quiet even next to the heavier-gauge power cords typically run alongside it in the same system.

The visibly thicker braided jacket on Essence I MK 3 RCA reflects the added shielding layer built in under it.

Essence I MK 3 RCA: ConnectorsEssence I MK 3 RCA terminates in gold-plated RCA plugs branded with the Life Audio name, sized to match the heavier Essence I MK 3 cable body.

As with the rest of the range, gold plating on the contacts resists the oxidation that gradually raises contact resistance on a connector left plugged in for years.

Essence I MK 3 RCA: Standard LengthEssence I MK 3 RCA ships as a 1.0m pair as standard; a custom length can be ordered through the dealer.

Essence I MK 3 RCA and XLR are priced identically, so the choice between them comes down to which input the connected equipment supports.
