260D T: A Floating CD Drive SuspensionThe 260D T’s proprietary CD drive system is mounted on MOON’s M-Quattro gel-based 4-point floating suspension for vibration damping, letting the ambient and spatial cues in a recording come through with less interference from mechanical noise.

That isolation is built into the transport mechanism itself, rather than relying only on the chassis or feet to manage vibration.
260D T: True 32-Bit Asynchronous ConversionAn optional true 32-bit asynchronous digital-to-analog converter turns the 260D T into a complete source in its own right, rather than requiring an outboard DAC to make use of its transport.

That DAC section is entirely optional on the 260D T, so a system already built around an outboard DAC can use it as a pure transport without paying for conversion circuitry it will not use.
260D T: Two Digital Outputs, Three Digital InputsTwo digital outputs - S/PDIF and AES/EBU - let the 260D T feed a downstream DAC over whichever connection suits the rest of a system.

Three digital inputs - two S/PDIF and one TOSLink - allow the 260D T to accept a connection from virtually any other digital source, extending its usefulness beyond CD playback alone.
260D T: The Next Step for High-End CD PlaybackThe MOON 260D T is positioned as the next evolutionary step in combining high-performance, useful features, CD playback and music streaming into one chassis, without pushing the price beyond an affordable range.

For a listener building a system around physical CD media, the 260D T brings modern digital flexibility to a format some had assumed was being left behind.
