Dominus: Silver, Copper and GoldDominus is the reference speaker cable in the Purist range, and the only one whose core conductors are an alloy of silver, copper and gold. The Diamond Revision reworked that metallurgy, which is where its richness and detail come from.
The effective gauge is 7 AWG - substantially heavier than the rest of the line - with a DC current capacity of 82 A and resistance of 0.000498 Ohm per foot, over an F.E.P./P.E. dielectric and Ferox dampening.

Dominus: A Four-Cable SetDominus is supplied as a four-cable set, with an individual positive and an individual negative cable for each channel. Separating them means the return path never shares a jacket with the signal it is returning from.
It stays a slender, flexible design despite the gauge: 5/8 inch across in speaker form and 7/8 inch as a bi-wire. Purist estimate 300 hours of break-in.

Dominus: Connectors and Custom BuildsDominus ships with Purist’s newly designed interchangeable spade/banana connectors in beryllium copper, silver plated then gold plated. Tips change by hand - unscrew the old one, screw the new one on, no tools and no glue.
WBT spades and WBT bananas are available instead, and Purist will custom-build for a system that needs something else. Every set is packaged in a soft case.

Dominus: What the Reviewers SayDominus has taken The Absolute Sound’s Editor’s Choice Award in 2021, 2022 and 2023, along with a Golden Ear Award and Gold Show Awards from AVShowrooms. TAS called it very detailed, very dynamic, very rich, and - thanks to its fluid-damped construction - virtually immune to floorborne and airborne vibration.
Writing in Positive Feedback in 2023, Marshall Nack found image borders more firm and explicit and the treble less rounded, while the full body from top to bottom of the frequency range that Purist cable is known for was retained.
