AVANTGARDE COLIBRI C18

Colibri C18. The incredible deep bass. An active super low bass module from Avantgarde Acoustic, built around a 460 mm (18 inch) long-stroke driver and an integrated 1,200 watt C-AMP1200 power and control amplifier.

Adding accurate, deep bass tones greatly improves the realism of the reproduction, with a sound that engages the listener, adding weight, body and musical authority. The C18 moves a volume of air approximately nine times that of a comparable 8 inch high-end woofer, reaching down into the subsonic range with an impression that is physical as much as it is audible.

Designed to extend the Colibri C2, the C18 fits any system that needs true low bass. Because we cannot locate sounds below 100 Hz, the compact 70 litre cabinet - just 32 cm deep - can be placed against a wall, in a corner or hidden behind a sofa. Any number of modules can be daisy-chained together.
