AVANTGARDE DUO GT

DUO GT. The best DUO we have ever created. The DUO GT 'Grande Twin' is the third evolutionary stage of a horn system that has been in Avantgarde Acoustic's portfolio since 1993 - the proven spherical horn architecture combined with the improved XM2 midrange driver, the new XT3 supertweeter from the TRIO and the XB12 bass drivers with huge voice coils from the SpaceHorn.

Driven by its impressive 670 mm spherical wave horn, the DUO is the epitome of performance and dynamic elegance. The midrange and tweeter drivers use Omega voice coils for an impedance of 18 ohms and a system sensitivity of 107 dB/W/m - easy to drive even with low-power high-end amplifiers.

Two powerful XB12 drivers in a bass-reflex configuration virtually double the dynamic headroom of the bass, driven by the integrated G3-1000 bass amplifier with 1,000 watts and an advanced digital sound processor. Available as a semi-active version for external amplifiers, upgradeable to the fully active iTRON version.
