670 mm Spherical Wave Horn and 200 mm XT3 SupertweeterThe MEZZO G3 midrange/treble unit is based on the large, low-frequency 670 mm spherical wave horn from the DUO series, combined with the 200 mm XT3 super-tweeter from the TRIO series. The XM2 Evolution midrange driver delivers 107 dB efficiency with 18 Ohm Omega technology, and the tweeter horn extends the range to 28,000 Hz with record-low distortion.
The crossover has been redesigned using the new NatureCapPlus capacitor with a special high-grade foil and an adapted circuit layout. To correct the phase angle, the position of the tweeter can now be precisely adjusted to the listening position using a rotary knob on the top of the cabinet - balancing the distance between listener, tweeter and midrange.

A Completely New Bass ConceptAt the heart of the new MEZZO G3 is a completely new bass concept. Based on the classic models of large classical cinema systems, we now use a large horn-loaded bass reflex system. At the front side, the sound is emitted via a short 0.645 square metre horn. At the back, the sound is coupled through an enlarged cabinet volume with two huge 120 mm bass reflex tubes firing downwards.
The bass blades with their 0.645 square metre front-loaded horn are available black or silver coated, or in a high gloss metallic finish. The bass is driven by an integrated 1,000 watt power amplifier with processor-controlled active filters and the new G3 user interface for programming.

Two XB12 Drivers Instead of One 15-InchInstead of one large 15-inch driver, we use two much lighter 12-inch drivers.
