LAiV Harmony µDAC

Harmony µDAC: A Discrete R2R Ladder DAC in a Compact ChassisHarmony µDAC runs a discrete R2R ladder DAC architecture on an Intel Altera Cyclone FPGA, clocked by an Accusilicon AS318-B femto oscillator for low phase noise, all inside a CNC-machined unibody aluminum chassis.

That compact footprint is built for a desktop or near-field setup, without giving up the discrete conversion architecture found in LAiV’s larger Harmony DAC.

Harmony µDAC: Four Digital Inputs, Up to 768kHz PCMUSB, Optical (TOSLINK), Coaxial (RCA) and I²S digital inputs handle PCM from 44.1kHz up to 768kHz and DSD from DSD64 up to DSD256, with galvanic isolation to reduce interference reaching the conversion stage.

A single balanced XLR analog output carries the converted signal on to a preamp, integrated amp, or active speakers.

Harmony µDAC: A Dot-Matrix Display for Input and Sample RateA 25x7 dot-matrix LED display replaces the basic segmented displays common at this size, rendering input selection, sample rate, and operational status as legible dynamic text rather than fixed digits or icons.

A navigation dial on the unit, plus an optional remote control sold separately, lets a listener change inputs or settings from across a desk or listening room.
