NT-1: A 60W Linear Power SupplyNT-1 is built around a 60W linear power supply with its own 60W toroidal transformer and multiple low-dropout regulators, a considerably larger power section than the compact TT-1 carries internally.

That power budget reflects NT-1’s position as Matrix Audio’s reference-level transport, built for owners who want the outboard-supply-grade performance of TT-1’s external option built directly into the chassis.
NT-1: CD Ripping and Dual USB 3.0Two USB 3.0 ports support One-Touch Copy and automatic CD ripping directly into the unit’s own storage, alongside an M.2 NVMe slot for expandable SSD capacity.

That combination lets a physical CD collection be digitised directly through NT-1 without a separate computer, then played back from the same transport going forward.
NT-1: Gigabit Ethernet and 10Gbps FibreBeyond a standard Gigabit Ethernet port, NT-1 adds a 10Gbps SFP port for a fibre-optic network connection, giving a fully noise-isolated network path for households set up with fibre switching.

The audio-specific USB output carries galvanic isolation and its own dedicated linear 5V/1A supply, keeping the USB signal path electrically separate from the rest of the transport’s circuitry.
NT-1: Syncing With the SC-1 Master ClockA 10MHz external clock input lets NT-1 synchronise directly with Matrix Audio’s SC-1 master clock, letting the femtosecond clock and RF synthesiser inside NT-1 lock to an even lower-phase-noise external reference.

NT-1 remains fully Roon Ready and supports TIDAL Connect, Spotify Connect, Qobuz Connect, AirPlay 2 and DLNA/UPnP, so the added hardware capability does not come at the cost of streaming-service breadth.
