MS-1: The First Product in the M SeriesMS-1 opens Matrix Audio’s all-new M series, a three-piece flagship system completed by the MP-1 preamplifier and MA-1 power amplifier, marking the brand’s advance into traditional separates-based Hi-Fi.
As the first product built to the new Matrix Design language, MS-1 sets the visual and engineering direction the rest of the M series - and Matrix Audio’s future products - are built to follow.

MS-1: Matrix Design PhilosophyMatrix Audio evaluates every product from the dual perspectives of "listening" and "looking," and MS-1’s industrial design carries that philosophy through hundreds of circular perforations of varying sizes and depths arrayed across its simple hexahedron chassis.
The perforation pattern is designed to catch light and shadow differently depending on viewing angle, giving the plain geometric shape a sense of rhythm rather than leaving it visually inert.

MS-1: Built Around App ControlMS-1 is designed so that day-to-day operation - volume, track selection, playback, filters, operating modes and display brightness - happens through the MA Remote app rather than requiring the listener to get up and touch the unit.
That control layer runs on MA Player, Matrix Audio’s Linux-based Hi-Fi streaming platform built exclusively for their own products, continually updated with new features and playback improvements.

MS-1: Anchoring a Complete Flagship SystemBecause MS-1, MP-1 and MA-1 are designed together as one M series lineup, pairing MS-1 with its matching preamp and power amp gives a system a single coherent source-to-speaker signal path from one manufacturer.
MS-1 can equally be used on its own as a source feeding an existing preamp or integrated amplifier, for a system built up gradually rather than as a complete three-piece stack from day one.
