The Twin Sub was developed as a compact yet powerful low-frequency solution for the TRIO G3, incorporating technologies derived from our SpaceHorns and reimagined for maximum flexibility. At its core are two XB12 12-inch drivers, each with an enormous 6-inch voice coil, in a downfiring layout with two large-volume downfiring bass reflex ports.
A specially tuned Class-D amplifier with an integrated DSP controller delivers up to 1,000 watts to the drivers. The digital control enables precise tuning to the room and listening environment, creating a bass performance that is not just heard but physically felt. It can be used as a single unit in stereo mode or in pairs for dual mono.
Available in four elegant wood veneer finishes with a custom-paintable front panel, the Twin Sub integrates visually and acoustically with the TRIO G3 - and is an ideal match for other Avantgarde loudspeakers such as the DUO or MEZZO
