Aqueous: Contego DampeningAqueous Single Wired continues the Aqueous Aureus introduced over five years ago, and was one of the first cables to use Contego - a specific ratio mixture of Purist’s Fluid and Ferox dampening materials.

The Diamond Revision improves that Fluid/Ferox mixture again. With enhanced finely stranded alloy conductors, Purist rate it among the most sonically rich and detailed cables at its price.

Aqueous: Finely Stranded AlloyAqueous Single Wired uses alloy conductors in silver and copper (Ag/Cu) at 10 AWG effective, insulated with F.E.P. Teflon and dampened with Contego.

DC current capacity is 55 A and resistance 0.000999 Ohm per foot, with an estimated 250 hours of break-in.

Aqueous: Speaker and Bi-WireAqueous Single Wired is one of two configurations - speaker cable and as a bi-wire, with customisation available on request. Outside diameter is 3/4 inch for the speaker cable and 7/8 inch for the bi-wire.

This listing is the single-wired configuration. Custom lengths and terminations are built to order.

Aqueous: Connectors and CaseAqueous Single Wired comes standard with Purist’s newly designed spade or banana - beryllium copper, silver plated, then gold plated. Additional tips can be bought through a dealer, and WBT spades or bananas are an option.

Every set is packaged in a soft case and treated with the Triple (3x) Cryomag process.
