PURIST AUDIO DESIGN CORVUS SINGLE WIRED

Corvus: Single Crystal CopperCorvus is unusual in the Purist range for using single crystal copper conductors. Drawn as one continuous crystal rather than many small ones, the conductor has no grain boundaries along its length for the signal to cross.

The effective gauge is 10 AWG with a DC current capacity of 55 A and resistance of 0.000999 Ohm per foot, over a P.V.C. dielectric. Purist estimate 300 hours of break-in before the cable settles.

Corvus: Ferox DampeningCorvus uses an improved Ferox dampening material, the powdered filler Purist pack around the conductors to absorb vibration. Purist credit it with the amazing tonality, warmth and depth the line is known for.

With the Diamond Revision the soundstage moves further forward and more subtle detail is drawn out of the music. The cable measures 3/4 inch across in speaker form, 7/8 inch as a bi-wire.

Corvus: Interchangeable Spades and BananasCorvus ships with Purist’s newly designed interchangeable spade/banana connectors - crafted from beryllium copper, silver plated and then gold plated on top. Changing a tip needs no tools and no glue: unscrew the old one by hand, screw the new one on.

WBT spades and WBT bananas are available instead if a system calls for them, and Purist will custom-build to fit unusual requirements. Every set is packaged in a soft case.

Corvus: Standard or Bi-WireCorvus comes in two configurations. The standard speaker cable is supplied as a two-cable set, one per channel. The bi-wire version splits at the speaker end for cabinets with separate high and low frequency terminals.

Red and purple leads mark positive, black and blue mark negative, with the purple and blue pair used only on the vertical bi-wire. All Corvus material is treated with the Triple (3x) Cryomag process.
