Musaeus: Entry into Ferox DampeningMusaeus Single Wired is the entry-level Ferox dampened cable in the Purist range. Make no mistake - these are hand crafted to make a system sing, and Purist call them a beautiful example of what their engineers and craftsmen can do at an accessible price.

With the Diamond Revision the fine stranding inside the conductors was adjusted specifically to improve detail and musicality, keeping the cable well-rounded through highs, mids and lows.

Musaeus: Entry into Ferox DampeningMusaeus is the entry-level Ferox dampened cable in the Purist range, and the least expensive way into the dampening material the rest of the line is built on. Make no mistake - these are hand crafted to make a system sing.

The conductor is PCCC copper at 10 AWG effective, with an F.E.P. dielectric, 55 A DC current capacity and 0.000999 Ohm per foot. Purist estimate 250 hours of break-in, the shortest in the speaker range.

Musaeus: Fine Stranding, Diamond RevisionMusaeus was revised for the Diamond Revision by adjusting the fine stranding inside the conductors, aimed specifically at detail and musicality rather than at headline specification.

Purist describe the result as fantastically well-rounded in terms of highs, mids and lows - a beautiful example of what their engineers and craftsmen can do at a price point that does not run away from you.

Musaeus: Bi-Wire ConfigurationMusaeus in bi-wire form splits at the speaker end to feed the separate high and low frequency terminals on cabinets that provide them, keeping the two feeds apart rather than jumpering them together at the binding posts.

Both configurations come as a two-cable set, one per channel, at 3/4 inch across. Red and purple mark positive, black and blue mark negative, with purple and blue used only on the vertical bi-wire.

Musaeus: Connectors and CaseMusaeus Single Wired comes standard with Purist’s newly designed spade or banana in beryllium copper, silver plated then gold plated. Additional spade or banana tips can be purchased through a dealer.

All Musaeus speaker cables are packaged in a soft case, and every part is treated with the Triple (3x) Cryomag process.
