Purist USB: Built for Computer AudioPurist USB is designed specifically for computer audio rather than adapted from a data cable. Precision construction and superior noise rejection give a richer, more natural sound than the USB leads that ship with computers.
The conductors are copper: 28 AWG twisted pair for data, 20 AWG for power and 28 AWG drain, with 0.237 Ohm/m on data and 0.034 Ohm/m on power. The cable conforms to USB 2.0 and measures 1/4 inch across.

Purist USB: Long Runs Without LossPurist USB uses large gauge conductors so the signal transfers accurately up to 5 metres, where ordinary computer USB cables are limited to a couple. That means the computer can sit away from the audio rack rather than in it.
Purist note that some computer USB outputs cannot drive longer lengths of typical USB audio cable at all. This one is a high resolution, high speed design that will pass a quality DAC signal further than expected across a wide assortment of interfaces.

Purist USB: Low Noise DielectricsPurist USB incorporates low noise dielectrics and double shielding - 100% foil with a 65% braid over a PVC dielectric - which is what gives it better resolution of musical detail and a wider dynamic range.
