Aqueous Digital: Contego DampeningAqueous SPDIF continues the Aqueous Aureus introduced over five years ago, one of the first cables to use Contego - a specific ratio mixture of Purist’s Fluid and Ferox materials. The Diamond Revision improves that mixture again.

With enhanced alloy conductors and a hand-crafted design, Purist rate the line among the sonically richest and most detailed at its price point.

Aqueous Digital: Both Digital StandardsAqueous SPDIF is offered in 75 Ohm SPDIF on RCA and BNC, and in 110 Ohm AES/EBU on XLR, so each build is made to the impedance its standard calls for.

Capacitance is 67.41 pF on the SPDIF build and 17.38 pF on the AES/EBU build.

Aqueous Digital: 24 AWG Copper, 98% ShieldedAqueous SPDIF uses copper conductors at 24 AWG effective with a P.E. dielectric, Contego dampening and 98% shielding.

Outside diameter is 5/8 inch with an estimated 100 hours of break-in. Custom configurations are built to order.

Aqueous Digital: Diamond Revision ConnectorsAqueous SPDIF carries the Diamond Revision connectors: the RCA plugs were redesigned in beryllium copper with a thicker gold plating, and the XLR connectors improved with beryllium copper and gold plated pins.

All material is treated with the Triple (3x) Cryomag process used across the range.
