PURIST AUDIO DESIGN NEPTUNE SPDIF

Neptune Digital: The Top of the Fluid RangeNeptune SPDIF is the pinnacle of the Fluid shielded cables in the Purist Audio Design Diamond Revision. Every cable in the line uses the improved proprietary Fluid dampening, a long-standing audiophile favourite for its warm sound and exquisite mid-range.

Purist say Neptune delivers a larger soundstage than the Venustas cables with stunning detail through the mid-range.

Neptune Digital: Correct Impedance for Both StandardsNeptune SPDIF is built in both SPDIF - RCA or BNC - at 75 Ohm impedance, and AES/EBU on XLR at 110 Ohm, so each termination is made to the impedance its standard calls for rather than approximated.

Capacitance is 63.21 pF on the SPDIF build and 17.0 pF on the AES/EBU build.

Neptune Digital: 24 AWG Single Crystal CopperNeptune SPDIF is crafted around 24 AWG single crystal copper conductors with a P.E. dielectric, Fluid dampening and 99% shielding.

Outside diameter is 5/8 inch, with an estimated 100 hours of break-in.

Neptune Digital: Diamond Revision ConnectorsNeptune SPDIF carries the Diamond Revision connectors: the RCA plugs were redesigned in beryllium copper with a thicker gold plating, and the XLR connectors improved with beryllium copper and gold plated pins.

All material is treated with the Triple (3x) Cryomag process used across the range.
